The Seminar "Global Learning for a Common Future" promoted by Education for Social Justice project was held on the 4th and 5th of July in Sozopol Bulgaria – where global issues, Human Rights, Social Justice and Cultural Differences were discussed by participating teachers and educators of partner countries.
The teachers had the opportunity to share experiences of their work at schools with the themes of Global Education, exchanging ideas, methodologies and presenting concrete classes or approaches. It was also held a workshop on "How to alert and encourage young people to issues of social inequality" and several sessions as those on the use of images or interactive tools to work in the classroom.
The seminar, held by the Black Sea, was attended by three dozen participants, among project coordinators and teachers of the schools involved from the participating countries. 'Fantastic, I did not expect to get so many good ideas for my work!" or ‘exceeded my expectations, I really liked the methodologies with images, useful for working with young people' were some comments in the final evaluation.
Now each participant takes to their country the ideas, the shared tools and materials, and will replicate to their colleagues and to other schools. Join us and discover more on the website of your country.
